American Electrical, Inc.'s IP 68 rated cable grips offers strain relief and protection from elements without having to run conduit
American Electrical, Inc. offers metallic (nickel-plated brass) and nylon cable grips. Both types are rated at IP 68, the highest level of protection against dust and water.
The metallic cable grips have an operating temperature of -40°C to +100°C. They come with a seal made of TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) and an O ring made of NBR (acrylonitrile-butadiene). They are UL listed in the USA and Canada. We offer them in both metric and PG thread types.
The nylon cable grips are offered in either gray or black and in PG, metric, or NPT threads. They have an operating temperature of -30°C to +100°C and have a neoprene seal. They are also UL listed in the USA and Canada.
Cable grips offer the user a better way to both provide strain relief and protection from the elements without having to run conduit. This makes the final product lighter without having to sacrifice quality
